His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I, not only referred to himself as “Emperor of all Africa” but also declared his authority over all Black people worldwide—especially those displaced by war, slavery, and colonialism. This mandate granted all Black people worldwide that come under The Emperor’s ensign the status as Ethiopians, and The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated stands as the organized legal and diplomatic body representing them.
