Tuesday, December 2nd, from 9:30 AM EST to 4:00 PM EST.
This special event is open to The Black Peoples Of The World — members and non-members alike.

Pledge Day is a time for us to gather as one global family and honor our theme:
“From Commitment to Community.”
It will be a meaningful day filled with performances, learning, reflection, and collective healing.
Your participation — and your support — helps strengthen the mission and operations of The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated.
Why Pledge Day Matters
In the United States, the first Tuesday after the Thanksgiving holiday is recognized as Giving Tuesday — a national day of charitable giving. On this day, people are encouraged to support organizations doing meaningful work in their communities and across the world.
As a membership organization and a nonprofit, TEWFINC relies heavily on donations to sustain its work, programs, and global mission. This year, we ask you to choose The Ethiopian World Federation, Incorporated as one of the organizations you support. Our Fundraising goal is $10,000 +.
For the current administration, all Pledge Day donations will directly support the International Executive Council (IEC)’s essential operational costs, including:
- Office maintenance
- Phone bills
- Zoom fees
- Website fees
- Mailbox rental and other mailing expenses
- DHL and other mailing expenses
At present, IEC officers have been personally covering many of these costs — a model that is not sustainable. Your donation helps ensure that we continue to grow, serve, and build with stability and strength.
